Ossie11MemberHi ossie-Sharon
In my plan midday snack often says yoghurt & 1veg of your choice , what veg would you eat with yogurt ?
Accuse me for asking your profile name is ossie-Sharon , anything to do with the great Ozzy Osbourne ?March 1, 2017 at 12:22 pm #37936
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Ossie11. No connection to Ozzy Osbourne here other than being a fan. Your name?
Regarding your question, antipasti vegetables are great with yogurt. Just put some herbs and spices in the plain yogurt, and dip carrot and celery sticks, cherry tomatoes, broccoli and cauliflower florets, mini-cucumbers, etc.March 1, 2017 at 12:45 pm #37937

Mac801123MemberHi, I joined a week ago and trying to sort out what i need for my shopping list however my local supermarkets don’t do Wholegrain bread. All i can find is Wholemeal, Granary or Seeded bread. What would be the best substitute for this? Would this be any good.. Biona Organic Rye Bread Chia And Flax? And the other issue I have is finding Wholemeal Teacakes or Muffins.
Many Thanks Mike

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Mike, and welcome 🙂 Whole grain and wholemeal are the same thing – no worries there. Granary and seeded breads can be great, too, but be sure to read the label to be sure there aren’t any white or refined flours in there. That Biona bread is excellent.

Barbara3266MemberDo you have to eat all that is on your daily menu?
March 4, 2017 at 10:46 pm #37971
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Theresa. You can follow it as long as you wish AND you can swap in recipes whenever you want. When you use the personal version of the Menu Planner app (the right-most option here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner) you will see many of the recipes available for selection in your menu. For recipes not yet listed there, just try to match up the “Exchanges per Serving” at the end of the recipe you want to use with the exchanges allotted to the meal in question (you can see these by clicking on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above any of your menus); it doesn’t have to be a perfect match.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Barbara. The intention is for you to eat everything in the menu. If you are feeling overstuffed, please do repost here, and I would be happy to help.

melkuykMemberHi.. I am having a hard time eating everything. I eat about 3/4 of everything soemtimes a half and I just can’t eat any more. Is that OK?
March 6, 2017 at 9:12 pm #37987
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, melkuyk. That’s fine – focus on protein and produce, if you can. It’s great that you’re in tune with your satiety signals. Always be sure that your correct weight is in your profile.

melkuykMemberThank you for the response. I will cut back. Also, somehow my starting weight is way off. How do I fix this?
