Thank you for the info. I try to eat foods with the nutrients rather than resort to a “pill”. I’m 71 and I take a vitamin, calcium, and probiotic daily. Right eating surely is the thing to do.!

Hello! I just wanted to say hello and that I am looking forward to making new friends and getting back in shape. I’m in the middle of writing a paper right now, so I don’t have time to chat, but I look forward to reading your posts! God Bless!

Hi I am new to this site. I wonder could anyone tell me can I substitute coconut oil for olive oil in the recipes. I am looking forward to all the wonderful recipes on here. I am vegetarian but eat a small amount of dairy and rather like the vegan recipes to.

Hi, crackerjac18, and welcome 🙂 You can definitely exchange olive for coconut oil in the recipes.

I am new here. My concern is my job I work 3 weeks straight with only 2 days off a month and no set hours. I state at 7am and could work until 4pm or 4am. I work in the oil field out of a truck very limited on heating a lunch ie sun power. Any ideas on easy meal prep ahead of time we are always busy with something or any kind of an option for a cold lunch I usually take a salad as it can sit in the cooler with my water.

    Hi, I joined new the group last week. But had visitors for a week. I’m planning to start the program next week. Wanted to clarify the following;
I love my brewed coffee with coffee mate and sugar, at least twice a week. Also I have Tassimo coffee machine and I like making late and cappuccino. Is this allowed within the program?

    #38535

Hi, Marian. Coffee (including espresso) is fine, but we don’t favor highly artificial additives such as Coffee Mate. Have you considered trying a non-dairy “milk” such as rice, almond, or hazelnut?

    #38541

I do drink Almond milk by it self and not added to coffee. Does the ready made Latte (Tassimo) have artificial sweeteners?

    #38543

Hi, Marian. Tassimo Latte doesn’t have artificial ingredients, but the sugar and milk protein are refined. It’s fine as an occasional treat, but we would encourage you to just make the espresso and add your own cream or milk and a high-quality sweetener like raw sugar, Stevia, erythritol, or a combination.

    Hello everyone
Can I ask can I change avocado oil for another oil as struggling to find it
    Thank you

    #38564

Hi, Amanda. Absolutely! The closest exchange nutritionally is extra-virgin olive oil.

Just starting program and finding it hard to find out what type of dressing to put on salads

    #38598

Love this program. Am trying some of the recipes as I love to cook. So excited that I can make menus geared to what I have in the pantry. Have always to eat healthy but sometimes get waylaid with life. Have to keep concentrating on good eating habits. I will do this. I will do this. I will do this.

Yahoo!! Finally found an eating plan I can stick with.
