MemberHi, Towdy83, and welcome! It looks like you’re off to a good start – I see that you generated a set of keto menus. You can ensure they suit you by swapping out any of the dishes for alternatives, and use the “Grocery List” tool to help with shopping. You can also repeat meals and even whole days as often as you like.
If you wish to switch to our regular low-carbohydrate route, which we recommend after a while on keto anyway, just deselect “keto” from the “Dietary Needs” section of your profile (lower right area), then generate a new menu.
You can read about healthy foods and habits in our searchable “Tips and Tricks” article collection, and get healthy cooking ideas in our searchable “Recipes” collection (both are accessible through the toolbar near the top of each site page). You can also take advantage of our “8-Week Plan” (link on the home page) to ease into the program, and get ideas for exercise at the ends of the pages for Weeks 1, 3, 5, and 7.
If you are interested in additional tools, or have any nutrition questions, just post in these forums, and I will get back to you.November 21, 2019 at 9:23 pm #44301Kjd1811
MemberI’m confused. There are so many different variations of Keto diets. I thought Keto was supposed to be low carb (below 20g)? My first week has 120 carbs. That seems like a lot to me.

MemberHi, Kjd1811. That’s 120 kilocalories from carbohydrates – the gram number is closer to 30.

MemberI am new here how can I change the menu plan for a vegan diet
December 1, 2019 at 9:40 pm #44347Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Sprout22, and welcome. The “vegetarian” and “non-dairy” selections you made add up to an essentially vegan diet – just use the swap function to change out any egg-inclusive dishes, or substitute egg replacements as you wish (e.g., tofu or chickpea flour for scrambled eggs, flaxseed for yolks as binding agents, etc.). If you would like more guidance with this, please let me know.

MemberI am new and feeling overwhelmed. The allowed calories seems too high for me. I need to buckle down and get started. I am NOT Keto dieting. Too difficult and hard on my kidneys. Ok for many other people.

MemberHi, shuggins123. I see from your menu that you are indeed not on the keto route. Is the amount of food in your menu more than what you were eating before (when not dieting)? Are you physically active?

MemberGreetings, My first day and love the ready made menus with options but had a hard time eating all three eggs in the bacon and egg omelet for breakfast and felt kind of sick to my stomach from all the fats so I will choose another option tomorrow. My question is can I possible remove some of the fat if it seems too much for me and can I use 2 eggs instead of 3?

MemberI am having a hard time figuring out how to find the master menu. I tried to change a veg omlet & it only let me choose a veg pizza. Help!

MemberHi, Mariegrahamacracker. Yes, you can use just two eggs, and reduce the olive oil to one teaspoon. I hope that helps. Please let me know if you need more adjustments.
