MemberOne more question…..Is there a place other than having to go “build a menu” that you can look to find exchanges of common foods? I may not be looking in the right place. Thank you!

MemberHi, megmiller77. You can build your menus by clicking on the edit tool (a pencil icon) on the right side of each meal header, then selecting foods from the searchable master list. You will be shown the exchange sizes when you select the foods, and will be guided by your meal pattern, which has been calculated to meet your needs and goals. For exchanges, you can also check out this page: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.

Memberhi ossie –
1.what i meant was – if i don’t have the link, under which category can i find the exchange lists? tools, my plan, etc.
2. can i save my fruit for the day to eat in the evening, or must i eat it with the meal it is paired with?
3. if one of my snack is 1 c. milk, is it ok to use it throughout the day for coffee?May 10, 2020 at 10:14 am #45690Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, SandySandy.
1. Sorry, the exchange information is available only through the link.
2. Yes, you can move the fruit.
3. Yes, you can use the milk throughout the day.
Whatever makes the menu comfortable for you is best – as long as you don’t load up most when you are least active, of course.May 10, 2020 at 11:58 am #45691SandySandy
Memberi will weigh myself tomorrow, the official weekly weigh-in. but i had to do it this morning too and i found that not only haven’t I lost weight, I actually gained some of the weight back that i lost last week. Woe is me, why is this happening???
i am keeping exactly to the menu, even partially reducing carbohydrates as you said. i am completely sated. i am drinking 9-10 cups of water every day.
i will continue, but arent you supposed to lose a lot of weight at the beginning? and not gain?
do the menus really change depending on the weight loss for that week?May 11, 2020 at 5:55 am #45694Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, SandySandy. If you have been on restrictive diets in the past, then it may take some time for your body to get used to normal amounts of food again. This is a lifestyle improvement program rather than a crash sort of “diet.”
Are you physically active? That is the healthiest way to give your metabolism a boost and help get over the slow period.May 12, 2020 at 10:30 am #45706SandySandy
Memberthanks ossie you are right. about the restrictive diets and about the fact that i should be moving more. just hate it! and i have tried everything and don’t connect to anything, except my car. 🙂

MemberHi, just started the trim down. Would like it if someone could check my meals to make sure I am doing it right? Also is 100% whole wheat bread okay to eat?

MemberHi just started trim down. I am doing the Keto plan. I have notice in the meal planning that there is a lot of cooking at lunch. I am in the field 4 days a week. Can I switch lunch and dinner on this plan?

MemberHi, SandySandy. Try distracting yourself with entertainment. Remember that even just walking in place in front of the TV counts as exercise!

MemberHi, ljlmendoza. If you mean an apple cider VINEGAR drink without added sugar, then it is a “free” beverage and no problem. If it is apple cider with sugar, then it needs to be counted as a fruit and swapped in for something else in your menu.

MemberHi, Helenmbrake. 100% whole wheat bread is an excellent choice.
Your menus look fine. Do they suit you? If not, note that you can make swaps through the adjacent edit tool – all has been calculated to make sure your menus still meet your nutritional needs. - AuthorPosts
