MemberHi, SandySandy. I understand. You can get less food in your menus by lowering the weight in your profile to 69 kg. See if that helps.
I also recommend physical activity, which can provide the biggest boost. If you would like guidance with this, please let me know.June 9, 2020 at 5:05 pm #45977carriepn
MemberJust wanted to know !!! Most of my menu comes with already planned meals, which is great but how can I change the menu to one of the many great recipes?

MemberHi, carriepn. Many of our recipes can be added using the edit tool to the right of a menu item. For newer recipes that have not yet been added into the system, you can use them to substitute for the main ingredient in your meal. You can also match up the exchanges visible at the end of each recipe and when you click on “Exchange View” in the toolbar above your menu. It doesn’t need to be a perfect match to work.

MemberWHat is a heathy nut butter? how can I eat it?
June 10, 2020 at 3:02 pm #45982Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, sdm65. A healthy nut butter is one that is made entirely or nearly entirely from nuts – no added fats, preservatives, or sugar. You can spread it on crackers, breads, or even vegetables like celery. You can also eat it as is instead of whole nuts.

MemberHi
Can someone tell me if you can have Coffee, I tried looking in the beverage drop down menu but nothing comes up, even when I search

MemberHi, carriepn. Coffee itself is a “free” beverage, meaning you can have it and don’t need to count it. What would need to be counted is any caloric sweetener (such as sugar) or whitener (such as milk or cream). Do you add anything to your coffee? If so, how much and how often throughout the day?
June 12, 2020 at 5:54 pm #46000carriepn
MemberI do usually have milk and raw sugar, approx. 1/4 cup of 2% milk and 2 tsp of raw sugar.

MemberHi, carriepn. If that is just once a day, it’s fine.

MemberDoes Bulletproof Coffee count as a meal? Or a snack? Can half and half be added to BP coffee and in what quantity to qualify as a Keto meal or snack?
June 13, 2020 at 3:08 pm #46011Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Daisykat. Bulletproof coffee counts as a snack (our recipe is here: https://www.trimdownclub.com/recipe/keto-bulletproof-coffee/).
You can add half and half to it, but try not to go over 2 tablespoons or the calories will start to add up too much.June 15, 2020 at 8:09 pm #46021coops3
MemberHi All, newbie here. I am trying to understand IF and thought it was supposed to be low carb and high fat. The menus I have seen thus far have carbohydrates for meals and snacks. Please help me understand because I want to have weight loss results.

MemberHi, coops3. The route that you’re on here is moderate in fat and low in carbohydrates. There are some starchy carbohydrate foods in your plan, but overall, the percent of energy from carbs is still quite low – about 40-45%, compared to 65-70% in regular diets. It is designed to support weight loss.
If you’re seeking something ultra-low in carbohydrates and high in fat, you may prefer the keto route. You can try that option by making the change in the dietary needs area of your profile.June 16, 2020 at 8:52 pm #46029coops3

MemberHi, coops3. Yes, you can switch out anything in your menu. Just click on the edit tool to the immediate right, then select a replacement from the pop-up list.
