MemberAwayagain4, thats excellent news, well done to you.
So glad you got your weight monitor sorted Chia.
I started good today until PMS got to much control and I ended up an emotional wreck – those raw emotions always catch me off guard. It’s such a rollercoaster ride but when I hit the final low, I think so negative, think of the past, today I also felt really sad which since I don’t drink or smoke anymore always leads to binge eating! bad thing I know, but the good thing is I managed to stop myself afer one piece of cake and 4 biscuits. This may not sound too good to many but I know I could have easily ate the whole cake and finished the 600g of biscuits when I fell like this. Thankfully the bubble has final burst, I’ve had a good cry and fingers crossed I’ll be back to normal tomorrow (if that every possible).

MemberHello everyone,I’m finally getting a chance to lose weight.my husband doesn’t like it, but he made a resolution to not stand in my way anymore.this is the first program that I’ve tried due to the fact that they tell you the right way to eat,an what to avoid.unlike others ,which want you to eat what they have already made. this is my first week, an I have been walking on the beach an going to the gym faithfully an enjoying the meals an snacks.I’m hoping to see a change by next month:)when I start something I think clearly an don’t stop til I’ve accomplished my goal.like painting my pictures.

MemberWelcome MrsNeighbors,
wow, would your husband prefer you to have health problems then because you are overweight? You have made a great start emotionally as well by the sound of it, I wish you the very best in your quest be eat better and eventually have a fit and healthy body and mind. Welcome from one artist to another all be it that i am a photographer and not a paint and brushes artist, do you have a link to some of your work? xxxJanuary 17, 2013 at 9:51 pm #6531r2b2
MemberCOOL change here thank goodness! Lovely isn’t it kelz1973!
jackiee, good girl! It is OK to eat something you shouldn’t. Hang in there. Just think that with all this healthy eating things may improve in the future and you won’t have to struggle as much.
The dragon boat is 14 metres long and can seat 20 people. Ours is an old wooden one from 1985 and yes we do PADDLE. Much harder if people are overweight so I am helping my team as well as myself.
Dawnrosie you are doing well. It is always hard when you cannot buy the food you need but even by replacing a couple of things that you have done will help. Being aware of what you are supposed to eat you can change slowly.

Memberhi Njob22,
you need to go to Apps first then Menu Planner and sort that out, select all the foods you like and are familiar with, this can take a bit of time to get right and you need to complete each section until the ticks turn gold. Once you have done that you will be on your way to a good start. Welcome and good luck, enjoy the cruise xJanuary 17, 2013 at 11:21 pm #6538Njob22
MemberThank you! yup it definately takes a bit of time but I amm positive it will be worth it 🙂

MemberI am a new member trying to develop reasonable menus & work around strange combos within a meal. That aside, I have made the spinach soup without the mint & cloves & it was good. However, where does “soup” fit into the plan i.e. as a substitute for a vegetable or as a “freebie?”

MemberQuestion for anyone, what do they mean by a slice of stuffing? 1/2 cup?
January 17, 2013 at 11:42 pm #6543dawnrosie
MemberI think that would be about 2oz a cup being about 4oz I believe?

MemberGoodmorning all,
Thanks you Chai and r2b2, today is starting better. I do know healthy eating will help balance me a bit but I do have as the dr said extreme PMS, never 2 months the same, no matter what supplements I’ve tried. Anyhow avoided a big binge so that was one thing at least. Glad it’s cooler for you r2b2 and that it stays that way for a bit.
Welcome aboard Mrs Neighbors and Njo22, good luck on your personnel challenges. Have fun on the plan and getting to know this site.

MemberCntwall, interesting question and hope maybe one of the trim down clud nutritionist can help here (Ossie Maybe?).
I agree with Dawnrosie, I always thought a cup measurement was 4oz \ 112grams, but I’m originally from the UK (old school measurements) and Dawnrosie is also from the UK (glad your taking the slowly approach by the way 🙂 ). However I also know the US cup measurement is 8oz too (Chia, sure your from the US 🙂 . Big difference there, so maybe Trim Down Club could clarify what a cup measement on this program is based on.
I wonder if Seaborn, R2b2, or Kelz have a different take on a cup measement in Australia?
However, when my menu planner says a cup of something, I measure a uk t-cup, because (as I throw a big spanner in the works) wouldn’t it depends what your weighing, for example a cup of freshly chopped parsley would weigh a lot less than a cup of cooked pasta or rice.
Fingers crossed someone at the trim down club reads these posts and can clarify a little on measurements.
Hope you all have a great day everyone, or afternoon, or evening depending where you all are ;-D
