MemberOssie,
I know you posted the link I am looking for somewhere before, but I can’t find it. Would you please repost where to submit recipes to have them looked at for nutritional content.
Thank you for answering all of our questions, you definetely have your hands full! And there will be less and less of us thanking you, that is because we are all becoming so much thinner!!!January 18, 2013 at 5:33 pm #6623Ossie-Sharon

MemberWOW …. You have all been busy.
The measurements – yes – everyone trying to work out the cup size. Feel for us Aussies who have to convert everything to metric! I feel for Kelz as she grew up with metric. At least I have memories of imperial. I must get a converter to make it easier.Congratulations Cherylbeasley – that is amazing. Should inspire everyone including me. My birthday yesterday and I had a couple of wines and cake. Not good but it is about celebrating life, especially when you have had cancer.
Seaborn – a day with nature – doesn’t it lift your spirits.
Dawnrosie – sending you a BIG HUG. Think about that move.
Welcome to all the new people on the cruise.

BlockedWhat is the difference between SWG bread and gluten free bread
January 18, 2013 at 10:14 pm #6649Ossie-Sharon
MemberSWG bread is made from grain that was allowed to sprout before milling ad baking, to develop enzymes that improve digestibility; SWG can be any whole grain, but is usually whole wheat, which contains gluten.
Gluten-free bread is made from regular wheat-free flour, and is not necessarily whole-grain.
The two are really quite different, though of course there can be a SWG gluten-free bread.January 18, 2013 at 10:46 pm #6654bizzylizzy

MemberMorning all you lot…just doing my morning things including checking you all out!
Chia…good to hear you are doing better love….I have a bad back too, and have had some cramping from it before. Not pleasant.I don’t understand what causes it, but I reckon the pain causes us to stiffen up a bit which then puts stress on the muscles…causing spasms.
R2b2…sounds like it was a great day for a birthday…not so hot as the previous days. And you are right…let’s celebrate life…too late once we are gone love.
Yeah, it is always good to get out on the farm and do things with the kids. Having their two boys, 10 and 9, in next Friday…take them home after church on Sunday arvo. They are off to a little school for the first time after that…been homeschooled. They are very excited! I have been in a bit of a quandry as to whether to see the little granddaughter off to school(her first year) in town, or go and join the boys…I think I will join the boys, as I will be walking to school with Steph and Joe and Mum most mornings. More important to support the boys that day I think, and I am very excited that they are going to the tiny local school. I am all for small schools.
Anyway, my hubbie is very busy building a new garden up the back, and I must try and look busy too!!! Hahah…..I think I have lost my 3lbs (1.3kilos) again!
Enjoy the day, night, wherever you are…catch up with on the ship later….Bev.January 19, 2013 at 2:59 am #6677annaleeramos
MemberHello there every one. Hi Jackiee and Seaborn. Hey Seaborn, that is some great news. I also think it great for you to walk with the kids and all for good moral support. I love to garden and really need to start tilling my soil for my early spring crop. I am going to wait till February for the last frost of the season. I had a chance to take a look at your pictures Seaborn on Facebook. Really great pics. I miss living near the water. It was grand. I still like the old Texas sunrise and sunsets. Maybe I will do like you and take my camera out for a stroll. Surely there must be something worth taking a picture of. And if not I can always go to the Goodnight for me. Take care, and healthy eating.

MemberHi all! Thanks for answering my slice of stuffing question. I have another question for anyone. What can I replace raw butter and raw milk with? I bought organic milk and butter since the store didn’t sell the raw. The butter was pretty expensive so is there another alternative that won’t affect the diet? Me and my husband have been on this for only 2 days and like it for the most part but worry we will get bored eventually with some of the stuff. For some reason some of the same stuff keeps coming up on the menu and when I look for another option it comes up with stuff i don’t like. For example green beans gives me parsnips as the only other option when I click other options. Why not peas or something I can actually stomach. Anyhow I will play with the menu some more and see what I can come up with.
