Hi, my name is Kristie. I signed up for this earlier this week but I haven’t started the diet yet. I will do that when I go grocery shopping again this weekend. Right now I’m just reading through all the materials.

I have already lost 10 lbs. since the beginning of October but with the holidays I had gained a few pounds. Starting last week, I started watching my diet and exercising again and I am now back down to the 10 lb. lost. I have 135 lbs. I want to lose yet.

Also, in the past week, I have finally starting going through a different mindset that I haven’t ever before with my years of yo-yo dieting. I’m tired of being unhealthy in life and I finally feel like I deserve to be healthy and happy in life. The last few days that I haven’t been able to workout like I want to, I have been visualing myself working out more. I actually wanted to work out more (which is a new concept for me) but I was busy at the time.

I’m going to get back with track on exercise today as i’m going to walk a total of an hour at work and then go home and shovel snow.

    Have a good day all!

Hello everyone. I’m into my 2nd day now. I have tried some of the recipes and so far I like them all. Although I have discovered I do not like avocado by itself. I am about to bake the Gluten-Freelicious Coffee Almond Cookies. They look good! I couldn’t tell you the last time I had a cookie. Thinkin I like this way of eatin!

Kelz1973 – Great you can order on line and have it delivered. Can you let me know the website please. Not that I will have any hope getting it delivered here but I might be able to arrange something when I know I am in Adelaide.

I am starting with baby steps. Was going to have L hip replaced Jan 29. It is postponed due to “They didn’t like my chest xray.” So I can’t do much exercise, using a cane. I’m just getting recipes and trying to eat a balanced combo of carbs, protein, and fruits and veggies. There is a lot to read and to ingest it all and get rolling.

Good evening, afternoon, or morning to you all where every you are in the world

How are you all doing? big hello to all the newbies, hope you all get the results your looking for. Did you manage all your walking and snow shifting Krlgilmo, Janet, hang in there, maybe your get better results by the end of the week. Smh4christ, hope the cookies turn out good as they sound tasty. Norunyan, chin up….we all have off days but remember you’ve been doing great and get hitting that refresh button to get you some alternatives to that TUNA. I prefer milk with my porridge in the morning, probably because that’s how my papa made it, cooked in salted water then splashed with milk. I skip that old tradition and just make it with milk with either have a little nuts or fruit to spruce it up a bit. Marcia, sorry your hip replacement has been postphoned, hopefully this healthy eating plan will help get you back on track soon, at least all this reading material will keep you busy. Apensa how you finding getting round the site now?

Rebeccadors, glad your still so positive on the plan and enjoying your treadmill runs. What a bonus your hubby does the cooking while you finish of your work, has he tried any of the trim down club recipes yet?

How are you Chai, did you get your problem with your menu history sorted out?

Good morning down under….who’s got the rain today then? hope it isn’t causing to much bother….Kelz, hope your sprouted grain bread is worth the extra pennies, my little rolls I found in Italy are so much worth the extra money as they fill me up more. R2b2, how are you getting on, have you been getting any rowing practice in or adding touches to your palace out back… Ginger, keeping your chin up…it is a pain men lose quicker than us ladies, my man doesn’t need to lose anything (Lucky s***) he has that type of metabolism that allow him to eat what every he likes but at least he doesn’t rub that in.

Seaborn….I’m waiting in suspense, how did the quinoa carrot patties work out, or did they (or you) go a bit mushy 😉 although I do hope you ended up enjoying making them. Hows your shoulder and back today after your gardening in the rain yesterday? hope your not suffering for all your hard work.

Well, I’ve been rushed off my feet the last 3 days, I thought theres nothing worse than a sick child at home, but then I remembered what it’s like having a sick man at home. My wee lass has had a fever with flu and my hubby has the same plus a tummy bug. The upside of all this is I feel great (touch wood that lasts)….I may not be losing weight quickly but I feel brilliant, energetic and chirpy….now all I need is my wee family to get better soon so I can get back to fitting exercises in my day instead of running around for them 🙂 well hope you are all well…I’m off to bed….night all…happy healthy eating everyone. 😀

“Good morning, good morning, sunbeams will soon shine through….”!!! I love that old song, and the words are so fitting for today…here anyway. The rain is wonderful Jackie….it hasn’t stopped raining since Wednesday night here, and last night the wind came with it….branches laying around today, but that is about all. Three poor saturated little Corellas have been taking shelter under a shrub outside my kitchen! We are supposed to have our two country boys in for the weekend, before school starts, but they may not get here now. My poor cat has no where to go outside, as the rain is just blowing in everywhere, so I set up her tray last inside last night…she doesn’t use it anymore, but she tried! Made a bit of a mess, which I had to clean up this morn…and then had to vac and mop that area…can’t mop the whole house at present as the house is all closed up and everything is damp!!!!! Ah, but I am thankful for the rain, and thankful I only have tiles in my house, thankful I can hang washing on a couple of racks with the fans on….our 22 year old dryer died last week!!!! Whoa!!! It is has just got way windier and harder rain….you would think we are getting the cyclone, but it is just the rain depression off it. I don’t think my kids are gonna make it here this arvo. But our sunburnt country is going to be lovely and green when this stops in a couple of days.
Jackiee…I am going to try the quinoa patties tomorrow! Let you know….
Must go…got work to do, and have to pick up my husband at 12 today….early on Friday…
Welcome to any new cruisers, and hope the day on the high seas is good for you all….I am feeling the best I have been for years…far more energy, walking and moving faster instead of dragging myself around…amazing.

It can be rough sometimes, Anna. We all go through it. Tonight I have a strong urge to have Pasta….not the stuff that they recommend here….I mean real pasta we brought home from Italy….tomator sauce cooked with Italian sausage, one glass of red wine and one link of sausage. It is very hard to stick to what they recommend.

Apensa, one time here and there won’t ruin everything ESPECIALLY if you are careful with portion sizes. Make only enough for single portions (so you’re not tempted by leftovers) and enjoy! This is not a diet, but a way of life of being healthy, and constant deprivation is not healthy.

God morning, evening, or afternoon. Well it’s 7:10a.m. Here, freezing outside, but at least I can see my drive.
Busy morning already, I have been up since 6! I have walked my dog around the park for 30 minutes, and then cooked porridge. I tried to cook porridge yesterday in the microwave, but made an awful mess, so this morning I cooked it on the hob. I hope it is as filling as the half a bagel and a boiled egg.
Another pound down, so that’s 8 lb in total. I have set my sights on the next stone marker, I can’t wait for that number to go down.
This weekend I’m going to cook from the recipes, with my 13 year old daughter, I don’t want her to become over weight like her mom, so I hope that cooking together will install healthy eating habits in her.
Have us good day to you all, I pick up all the comments on my phone, reading them at break time and lunch time, I find it keeps me on track for the rest of the day.

Annaleeramos… 😀 now those few days have passed…I hope you can get back up on that positive high horse and gallop back on track as your such a great source of inspiration here and we all need your happy health comments to keep us going…so take a deep breath…we all believe in you…come on…happy health eating 😀
Ossie, your have made apensa smile today for sure. apensa, I live in italy so pasta is a hard one to avoid here. Even when the doctor recommended a diet, the soup even included pasta pieces. I love primavera pasta (theres even a recipe on here for that one) and pasta with tuna and peas is delicious. Just as Ossie says use the recommended allowance and eat it slowly. I made pasta with Kamut flour last weekend and it was a hit with the family.
I get up at 6 every morning with my little one Rebeccadors, it’s such a lovely time of the day, just before the hussle and bussle.
Sorry to hear the rain is planning havock with you family plans seaborn. I do hope it lets up a little so your grandsons can come for the weeknd. I hope you had a lovely relaxing friday afternoon with you huddy, good luck tomorrow with the patties 😉 and have a lovely weekend.
Right I’m off to play with little angel, she’s got the lego out all ready for me, saying play mamma play 😀 Happy health eating all

WEll Jackiee, they are here…their dad dropped them off as he went to work for the night….he doesn’t think he will get home tomorrow, so he may have to sleep over tomorrow…that will be tough for him if it is still raining…..
It was a good arvo, but certainly not relaxing….racing around in the pouring rain and wind, banking, taking Bill to his haircut so he wouldn’t get wet (lol) and then the shopping….of course the end of the car was right in the line of the rain pouring off the parking covers, so we got drenched putting the bags in the boot…haaha….and the bags were full of water, and all the goods were wet!!! I love the rain, and I love stormy weather, but there are some things I could do without!!! Lol….
Anna just get back on love, and keep going…the weekend might be tough for me too with the boys here and lunch sunday at church and Australia Day on Monday.
My husband and I loved what Ossie said to Apensa…that is why I joined this programme….it is a lifestyle, and I want to live it….thankyou Ossie and Trim Down. Must go everyone…my attention is being desired….hahahha!

😀 excellent, glad they got there Seaborn, sounds like your will will be tested this weekend, why don’t you try getting the kids to try baking brownies from the menu? either way, hope you will prevails (most of the time 😉
we’re now watching peppa pig (which has been on for the last 4 days!) not sure if you get it there, but it’s a cartoon of a little family of pigs – peppa is a wee cheeky monkey too but they love jumping in muddy puddles – looks like they could be a wee game for you all down there this weekend with the sunshine soap too of course.
Rebeccador, hope you enjoyed your porridge I think its the best breakfast going.
    Buon appetite all
