MemberKatie: I have found that as I get older, I don’t like being as busy as I used to be, either. I used to do so many things in a day, and at once, and never gave it a thought, but now I really have to try to make a point of not being so busy or I get overwhelmed. Stress used to not bother me, but it does now and I shy away from it. 🙂 I truly believe it comes with age.

MemberHi everyone,
manda23: It’s all about lifestyle here and yes you will lose the weight and not take it back. You will not lose the weight as easy as some other programs, however, you will learn to eat properly, you will have more energy, you will be more active and as you go along you will build up confidence.Start with a very basic menu and chose only the foods that you like. Read all the posts on this topic especially from Ossie. It will take you a while to get all of your ingredients. Take your time, do it well, these lessons will last a lifetime. Good luck!

Memberstgeofun: Congratulations to you for losing 5 lbs. I’m just curious, how long have you been in the club and eating healthier?
I ate pizza lastnight and had 4 pieces, so I understand how that can happen when it hits the spot. My stomacke hurt. oopsy:}This is my 3rd week in the club and what a wonderful difference it is making on how I feel everyday. With actually eating more than once a day and making healthier choices, my body is thanking me!!!!! I used to have a half pot of coffee with sweetened creamer and cigs. for breakfast, then eat in the afternoon. When I felt shaky and sick. Now I’m eating a good breakfast having one small cup of coffee, and ready to eat again a couple hours later. Thank-you Trim Down Club for giving me healthy info. and food ideas. I think I was afraid to eat much before because I did’nt want to get heavier than I’am, but the thing is I still kept the weight on. I just got a scale, hope I’m going to see good results.

MemberI am asking once again to one and all again. Is anyone else Jewish and what substitutes are suggested during Passover? Besides that I will be in rehab recovering from hip replacement surgery.
On another note I love reading about everyone else, our trials and good tidings. I am so pleased that my weight is slowly going down and not bouncing around. It is hard to believe that all the food all day long does the trick.March 4, 2013 at 9:00 pm #9658Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Marcia. The Trim Down Club will be coming out with a collection of popular Passover recipes in time for the holiday.

MemberBje…I started this program on January 28. It took me about a week to clear my cupboards of foods that aren’t the healthiest and to restock with the recommended foods from this program. I was hoping to lose a little faster, but I didn’t put the weight on over night, so I guess as long as it’s going in the right direction, I need to be patient. Patience is not one of my better traits! lol I really like the foods. Tonight I made quinoa and put my fish curry over it! It was delicious! I bought some Atlantic salmon by mistake (I prefer Pacific salmon), and when I read the fish recipe for fish curry, that was just what I needed. It’s one of my favorite dishes.
I think one of the reasons this program is being so successful is that the recipes are so good. It takes a lot of preparation time, but then I always have food in my fridge to draw on.
The side benefits are great too, my blood sugars are doing much better, I have more energy, and after two hip replacements, almost 5 and 4 years ago, I finally feel like I can run up the stairs now!
I’m sleeping much better, as well. So hang in there. This is a great group of people who keep us all encouraged!Radisson, thanks for your suggestions. You don’t think Canadian Bacon is ok? I have seen it on a lot of diets. It really is a lean meat, and use just a little of it to give the recipe some zing! lol
Bev & Jackie…how are the two of you doing. Bev, I heard about this website called nomask.com. It’s an alternative to the mask you have to wear for your sleep apnea. I have not looked at the sight, but I thought I’d pass that on to you.
Jackie, are you enjoying your company? I hope your little girl is feeling well now cause there’s nothing like having a grand parent around to spoil you. I love spoiling my grand children! They are all so much fun to be with, and they’re really good kids too. They range from 16-2. The last couple of years, I’ve really had a lot of fun with the twin girls, Tessa & Mckenzie! They are adorable!Well, I better go record my food for the day and report my exercise. I exercised at the gym today, but the greater exercise, was exercising my brain!!!! I had to get my papers together to send to my accountant for TAXES! YUK! I hate that job, but I’m grateful it only happens once a year! lol
Now I’m ready for a good week, so here’s hoping all of you have a great one too!

No your doing real well. I’m envious I cannot have any high salt/sodium content meat like Canadian Bacon. My bad cholesterol level is too high, also I’m on two medications to control my blood pressure. Bad mix.Congratulations for your weight loss, you are on the right track.

Memberstgeofun What is your curry recipe, I really need something to help my fish. Plus the quinoa recipe? I use Cod or Atlantic Perch. I did buy lemon peel for it, but that’s all I have. I started this club on Feb. 20th. I guess it hasn’t been three weeks yet. When did you first see results?

Memberstgeofun I’am spending a lot of time on this too, but as I learn to apply this program to my life I’m sure it will become more natural and need less time on it. Congrats on your new grandbaby coming!!!!!!!!! I also eat leftovers, but I don’t keep cooking until there gone. I will freeze them if this gets too unanamous. I dont know if I spelled that word right. lol

MemberI have discovered by eating Korean food that everything is better with garlic, red pepper and ginger on or in it. That definitely includes fish and salad (Kim Chi contains those spices on Sauer kraut) Kim Chi contains a lot of salt just as do pickles the process of making them is sort of similiar

Tommorow will be my second week choosing healthier foods and eating more consistently. I’am a size 20 on the bottom, half of me and 2XL on top.In this program you will feel the difference in energy, sleeping better, and just feeling more alive and alert on the Trim Down Club. I’am so… thankful for the menu and the community; which both are very encouraging. It is a great deal!!!
