MemberHi, driekes, and congratulations on your progress! We wish you continued success. You can get more protein into shakes by adding freshly ground chia and flax seeds, peanut butter, yogurt or kefir, and using edamame as a vegetable.

MemberHi, crr1005. We haven’t had the 60-Day Challenge as is, but it has been replaced by the 8-Week Program.

MemberHi, Patito. The 60-Day Challenge – which has been replaced by the 8-Week Program – is an eight-step way to ease new Clubmembers into the program with gradual changes.

MemberI’m new to this plan. Is this where I submit questions? It appears that this forum is back in 2015. Are there more recent posts?

MemberI am struggling to create the food i need to eat. I am not a cook and seem to find items on my menu that I have to take 30 min or more time to make. I also worry the ingredients will spoil before I use it the second time. Lots of waste. Can most of these food be frozen and still taste good microwaved?

MemberHi, Darcy. If it feels like too much food, don’t fight it – it’s better that you are in tune with your true hunger and satiety signals. You can cut back a little on starchy carbohydrate foods, but be careful not to eat so little during the day that you become ravenous in the evening, or end up on a starvation or semi-starvation diet that will ultimately work against your long-term success.
With regard to waste concerns, you can repeat courses in meals, whole meals, and even whole days as often as you wish to finish foods.March 25, 2020 at 1:21 am #45439M4AJohn
MemberI just enrolled and want to get off to a good start, but I’m a bit overwhelmed with lots ingredients that I haven’t normally used and consequently need to go shopping for and now we are on lockdown in WI as of 8AM tomorrow. Is there a way to prepare a full week menu and have a grocery list generated?

MemberHi, M4AJohn. I see that you successful in generating a menu – wonderful! You can find the grocery list link among the buttons above your menu. Note that you don’t have to jump in head-first – small changes can also add up, and may do so with less feelings of being overwhelmed and deprived.

MemberI am so happy to see a recent post! I live in MN and we are in lockdown too. Stressful times. I am on week 3 and have lost 8.5 pounds so far. You can do this too! I have tried the creamy sweet potato carrot soup, classic cuban black bean stew so far. I’m trying one new thing a week. I haven’t followed the plan perfectly but love having a menu to guide me into nutritionally balanced meals that keep me satisfied. I’ve picked the fruit I have on hand or is on sale and substituted them in menus all week and same with meat. Then switch it up to get the variety so I don’t get bored. The recipes and meat are freezable.
One thing I’d love is to have the menus printable in excel format so you can see at a glance and on fewer pages.March 29, 2020 at 4:44 pm #45459Ossie-Sharon

MemberGood morning from Calgary Alberta Canada. I was laying awake with insomnia and frustrated with my weight gain and not being able to successfully shift it at all when I was reading articles on menopause diets and came across TDC. I have been reading and listening for over an hour and decided to join. The theory seems sound and it isn’t a fad diet it’s solid nutrition. I used to be a bodybuilder way back in the early 90’s and have been in the fitness arena since then so I’ve done the research and I know this program is healthy. Menopause hit and I gained over 30 pounds in the last 10 years that I cannot get off! I’m hoping I’ll find what I need here. I workout almost everyday of the week but my food intake is the culprit which translates into my lack of discipline. I need the accountability of this forum also. Now with this Covid19 happening we are all in isolation from each other and no gym support! And I just moved and am starting two new frontline jobs! Now is the time for change! Anyway I’m blathering on probably because I’m tired lol. Just wanted to say hi and get some support for starting this 60 day challenge on Monday! Take care all and goodnight! ?
