Question for Ossie Sharon
I am making homemade almond yoghurt using 1 litre of almond milk 1/4 cup of corn flour two tablespoons of sugar. I’m also adding probiotics. This makes1 litre. Would serving size be the same as yoghurt in menu’s on this site.
I’m not able to eat soya due to hypothyroidism so wanted a non dairy alternative . I hope i can fit this into my plan ..
Thank you
I update on info the recipe calls for 2 cups of raw almonds to make 1 litre of yoghurt + 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/4 cup of corn flour
Hi, Dianna. The serving size would be about 1/4 cup, which is a third that for regular yogurt. This portion would be equal to about 1/3 carb, 1/2 protein, and 1 fat exchange.
