Hello, I was hoping that an expert could reply to my question. I just started this program about a week ago with my husband. I am 27 years old and weigh 153 lbs. I really like it, however I feel like I am always starving and waiting for the next time I can eat. I know this is a lot of food, so why am I always hungry? I do high impact excercize about 6 days a week for 45 minutes to an hour so I am sure that has something to do with it, but I dont think I should be upping my calorie intake because I wont lose weight. Is this normal for someone starting off? I assume the portions given to me are based on my height and weight in my profile…right? do I need to just continue on and hope my stomach shrinks?

Hi, BonnieKaye, and welcome. You can definitely up your intake and still lose weight. We don’t want you to be hungry or thinking about food all the time. You can either bulk up your current snacks or choose additional snacks for whenever you get hungry between set meals. Up to 9 meals/snacks per day is considered just fine, but your body will tell you what is best. I suggest an additional exchange each of protein, carbohydrate (or 2 proteins), fat, and fruit and/or vegetable. The list of exchanges is here – http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.
