MemberHi, julielala. We would rather you make shakes from whole foods, if possible. We have quite a few recipes in this site, and you can dress them up with flax or chia seed meal or other superfoods. However, there are some food-based meal-replacers/shake enhancers out there, and they would be preferable to skipping a meal. Just be sure to read the ingredients and avoid artificial sweeteners and other undesirable chemicals.

MemberI am starting bio trust shakes when I get them in the mail. They seem to be very healthy. I will add almond milk to them and fruits.Hope that’s okay?

MemberHi, Sylvia. That sounds great! Just be sure to count each cup of almond milk or cup of fruit as a carb or fruit exchange.

MemberHi, fjcaruso. Take a look at our recipes in the Drinks section of our Recipes collection – there are lots of great shake recipes there based on whole foods.
