MemberHi I am a newbie here, though I entered this club believing what I think what it is saying is true and scientific but can somebody please help me understand how it works. I mean what is the scientific explanation why if we choose balanced ratio of carbs and proteins body will shift to fat burning mode no matter if we eat high cards as long as it is a balanced with the right amount of protein.
Is there a formula or ratio of this carbs versus protein intakes?
Can I take protein supplements if I think the carbs that I ate doesn’t have the right amount of proteins? Thanks

MemberHi, arki. The main explanation is that proteins slow the glycemic impact of carbohydrates; carbohydrates without a buffer increase insulin and inflammation, which lead to fat/weight gain. The carbohydates encouraged are complex (“slow-burning”) and high-fiber, to lessen the sugar and insulin reaction even more.
This program offers a lot of protein – no need for supplements. Approximately 20-25% of the energy is from protein, 40-45% from carbohydrates. The general ratio in the menu is about 1 gram of protein to 3 grams of carbohydrates. - AuthorPosts
