MemberBananas don’t seem to get a mention, am I missing them somewhere?
Is there anyway of adding recipes direct to the meal planner?October 17, 2013 at 1:28 pm #15827AnnaH
MemberHi Angie, I had the same problem, it seemed that they didn’t appear because I had the sugar free option ticked in my menu planner. You can have 1/2 a banana in place of a portion of other fruit.
I also found when I unchecked the sugar free option that a lot more recipes came up but I don’t think all of the available recipes. So I would be interested in an answer to that query too.

MemberAngie have you asked for the exchange list link from Ossie. It really helps in the beginning. Debbie

MemberHi, Angie. Indeed at this point, bananas are not in the low-sugar route, but as Deborah mentioned, 1/2 is equal to a serving of fruit. If you want to use a recipe that is not already in the Menu Planner, just choose one in the list that is similar to what you want, as a place saver, and then swap in yours when it’s time to prepare the meal. The tech development team is working to enable all the recipes to be part of the app – there are more and more, so it will take a little time.

MemberThanks… That is helpful for me as we’ll! I was afraid I was not meant to eat bananas for snack…. 1/2 makes perfect sence. How do I get the exchange list??
