I am sensitive to beans which causes a flair up of my gout which is very painful. Are there other alternates to the many beans
Hi, Frankri. The easiest swap for legumes is dairy, such as yogurt or milk. For each cup of legumes, you can have a cup of yogurt or milk; you can also have 2 ounces of low-purine poultry or fish (salmon is great) + some low-purine vegetables.
