MemberHi
I have joined about two weeks ago.
working way through different options as i got two boys and wife so cannot spend all day in the kitchen.
i did for about week and have been told off.
so now i am trying to accommodate various dishes and sides from ‘previous life’
i know that hunters stew is probably extremely heavy but i like it anyway.
only eating it for big occasions like Christams etc.
i hope that small amount of something heavy is acceptable?
Anyway just wondering as I cannot find much about: Beetroot, sauerkraut and gherkin (my favorites as sides) in options.
Are these ok to be used as veg?? with amount restriction or not ???
cucumber is free veg but would gherkin be as well ?? or barrel pickled cucumber.
Beetroot I usually do boiled and grated after – than mix with lemon juice bit of salt and sugar and packed in jars for winter.
sauerkraunt – best ‘salad side’ with bit of onion, salt and pepper and olive oil
Can you advice if above are healty options or not really.
Many Thanks
Regards
