MemberQuick hello to ALL! Just wanted to wish everyone great success. I am scared to death but excited that this time I just may have finally found something that makes sense and will actually work. My goal is to lose 56 lbs by the time I turn 56 in June 2014. I’ve read some testimonials and will check in often with my progress. Hope to make many friends here. Like I said, best of luck to us all. WE CAN DO IT!

MemberHi Twinkle! And welcome! I have only been on the program for a week and have noticed a big difference in myself. I have lost 4 pounds in the first week that is amazing! Good luck and best wishes! And keep checking in!

MemberHi all! I have been reading all the instructions and forgetting some of them LOL. I finally got my choices, concerning menu items, done tonight. Now I need to print out my menus and shopping list. Because of some of my limitations I’ll be cutting out all salt and check marking the cholesterol box. Hope some great menus come up! This program is exactly what I’ve been searching for, for the last 8 years! It’s like someone holding my hand and helping me choose the right food and not skip meals by snacking.

MemberHi Twinky, I am new also. I hope to lose 20lbs….by May 8th would be wonderful. I love the menu app. I will be starting Tuesday because I have to go shopping, if I have some of the items on hand I will start sooner. I will check in with you weekly (if you do not mind) just for encouragement. I KNOW WE CAN DO IT!!

Twinky, I can relate to having a goal date in mind. My goal is to lose 30 lbs by mid July. I’ve lost 5 lbs so far! Horray! After mid-July my ultimate goal is to lose 30 to 40 more lbs for a total of 60 to 70 lbs.
Sharon, I totally agree with your saying that this is like someone holding your hand and helping to eat right and snack right. I feel the same way! Its like having a secret weapon!
Gorgeousgranny, I love the idea of checking in weekly! Helps to stay movtivated.
Berylnana, that’s awesome you have lost 4 lbs in the first week! That’s quick! 🙂

In the spirit of what gorgeousgranny wrote a few weeks ago, I’m checking in on this thread weekly. I’m down 1 lb this week! Horray! I’ve decided next week I’m going to swap out some of my fruits and have more veggies and I’m going to cool it with the SWG pastas and breads and eat more beans and proteins (like eggs) for breakfast instead of yogurt. I think the SWG stuff is great but I think it may be keeping me from loosing as fast as I could. I’m still going to allow myself some carbs by allowing myself some cheat days so I don’t deprive myself but just cool it a bit and see what my results are next week. Keep up the good work everyone!!
