Ossie, I posted this in SBS and Debbie suggested asking you.
So, I’ve finally learned how to use the menu planner but I have a question. Is there a way to relate a site-generated diet to a specific number of calories? My nutritionist has told me I should be shooting for a 1600 calorie diet but I haven’t found out a way to tell the calories in the Menu Planner diet, other than looking up the calories in each food item. And I was hoping the Menu Planner would help me avoid having to do that.
Hi, DanticePhoto. This program doesn’t really work with calories, but rather with meeting your nutritional needs according to food groups and macronutrients. If you want to post your gender, age, height, and weight, as well as your general physical activity level, I can do some calculations. If you want to post a sample day from your Menu Planner menu, I can match the two up for you.
