I have, as of today, been diagnosed with an overgrowth of Candida Yeast overgrowth and have to completely revise my lifestyle. When I do a mean plan it is so limiting on my options. I have to avoid Fruits & fruit juices, Breaded, cured & smoked meats & fish, Condiments, Sugar alternatives, Corn, peanuts & pistachios, Beans & grains, Soy products, Soy products, Dairy products: Unless it’s fermented. So what can I really do with you program?

Hi, Brandy. Yes – our program is designed to be flexible to suit your needs. To create a menu that takes into account your needs, click on the circular arrow icon at the right of the breakfast meal header in your current menu. You will be brought to the subapplication, in which you can select the specific foods to go into the meal, guided by your pattern of allotted nutrient “exchanges.” Note that because of your needs, you can have a extra protein exchange for every carb exchange that you don’t use, and two non-starchy vegetable servings for each fruit. Then do this for the remaining five meals.
The advantage to doing this is having the portions right-sized, and day divided up to keep your blood hormones steady – especially important while trying to starve yeast.
By the way, if you can, try to have as much fresh garlic and turmeric as possible, and consider avoiding mushrooms.
If you would like additional assistance, please do let me know. If you are interested in reading more about optimizing your anti-Candida lifestyle, I would be happy to recommend some excellent reading materials.
