yes I’m having trouble with my blood sugar with all these carbs. I can have no more than 60 grams of carbs a day to control my blood sugar and this menu plan gives me between 150 and 175 a day. Guess this isn’t going to work for me.
Help on this too. Trying to control blood sugar & haven’t eaten this much bread in 30 years. Weight is NOT changing. What do I do?
I would drop the amount of carbs in this meal plan down to the level you need to maintain your blood sugar. you can adjust anything in this plan according to your own Health needs. Stick with it don’t give up.
Hi, Dwandell & Slegbert (and thanks, Leah!). If you are struggling, then note that you can swap a protein exchange for any carb exchange. For example, an ounce of meat or cheese for 1/2 cup of pasta or rice; or yogurt for cereal; vegetables for fruit, etc.
