I have just joined and I’d like to know what to drink during the day – coffee, tea or something else. I usually drink coffee with a small amount of 2% milk or tea with even less milk. I have never found a herbal tea i like. What do others do?
Many thanks
Tina
Hi, Tina, and welcome! Coffee and tea are fine, especially green tea. We do recommend water or something similar for good hydration. For people who don’t like drinking plain water, we recommend homemade flavored water infusions or homemade lemon/lime soda. Infusions are made by adding fresh fruit cuts or berries to water and letting the mixture steep for a couple of hours, then drinking the flavored water either as is, or sweetened by a natural sweetener such as monk fruit, xylitol, or Stevia. You can “make” your own soda by adding a squeeze or fresh lemon or lim juice to plain soda water, and sweetening to taste as described earlier.
