MemberHi, I’ve just started and have created my menu planner. I can’t see any mention of coffee and tea and if there are any restrictions. I am trying green tea a couple of times a day but I do enjoy a latte with semi-skimmed milk. How do I get this into my menu planner? Thank you.

MemberHi, Jenny. Coffee and tea themselves are “free” beverages, and so don’t need to be counted in your menu. They are discussed in the FAQ section, visible when you scroll down past your finished menu. The semi-skimmed milk is the only part that you should count, and this is in the Menu Planner lists.

MemberHi, Erma. Can I ask why you’re “back on a crash diet”? Perhaps we can help you with something that may be easier on your system.

MemberThank you Ossie-Sharon, it just takes a while to find your way around! One other question if I may, I’ve made some of the tomato soup from the recipe section but can’t see how to slot this, or other recipes into my menu planner.

MemberHi, Jenny. Many of our recipes are in the Menu Planner lists, in the “Recipes” subcategory of each major food group. For newer recipes not yet in the system, there are two ways: you can either just use them as your preparation method for one or more foods listed at a certain meal, or you can match the exchanges (listed at the end of each recipe) to those allotted to you (visible by clicking on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above your menu).
