TALK TO ME ABOUT COFFEE AND SPLENDA SWEETENER.
HOW ABOUT USING FAT FREE CREAMER AT 10 CAL.PER 1TBLS.
ALSO TELL ME IF SKIPPING A SNACK IS A PROBLEM. IS HAVING HALF A SNACK OK.
Hi, donatlepage. Coffee is generally fine up to 2-4 cups per day (depending on how your body handles it), organic is preferable of course, given that it is a pesticide-heavy crop. Coffee, like tea and water, is a “free” beverage by itself, and so does not need to be factored into your menu. In terms of sweeteners, we don’t recommend artificial ones like Splenda (sucralose) because they can actually work against your efforts here – you can read more about this and the sweeteners we prefer here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2.
Skipping a snack or half is not a problem if it doesn’t result in overwhelming hunger later. We also recommend that you ensure that your day overall still includes at least 5 total fruit/vegetable servings and 3 calcium-rich foods/beverages.
