I am having problems weighing my snack ingredients properly as the amounts are so small (eg 1/2 an ounce) that my food scales are not accurate for such small amounts! Any suggestions that don’t involve buying an expensive mini scale set ☺
Hi, Ursula. Yes – you can just use imperial units (cups, tablespoons, teaspoons) as volume measures, as follows:
1 cup = 240 ml
1 tablespoon (Tbsp) = 15 ml
1 teaspoon (tsp) = 5 ml
For the nuts, 1/2 ounce = 30 ml
