MemberYour recipes cover several health issues. But I have to limit my vitamin K intake due
To taking Coumadin. I love veggies but its hard to find great recipes for my problem.
Most recipes have found include high carb veggies, can you help.April 3, 2013 at 7:54 pm #10630Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Mickey. Any recipes for salads and roast vegetables or which include vegetables for stir-fry are opportunities for you to choose whatever vegetables you want, and so avoid high vitamin K and carb choices.

MemberThank you for the help. I have been trying to do just that but
It is hard. I love green veggies and miss them.April 4, 2013 at 3:29 am #10646JustJanet
MemberMickey, I take Coumiden too. When I first starting taking Coumiden I was afraid to eat greens too, However, I now eat one green veggie every day such as frozen brussel sprouts, green beans, spinach pretty much any I want and haven’t had any problems. I eat a lot of salads too. My doctor checks my blood every two weeks to be sure my level is okay. So, don’t give up your greens just don’t pig out on them LOL. Jan

MemberThank you JustJanet for your encouragement . I’ve only been on Coumadin
for two months and my blood in finally normal . 2.7 so for the past week I have
been eating more green veggies but not a lot. I check my blood in two weeks
so that will tell if I’m over doing the veggies. Wish there was a better way! - AuthorPosts
