bntnemenzMemberI have come across two more questions that I’m curious about….
1. Is it okay to chew gum, if it’s sugarfree? Or will the small amount of sweetener have a negative effect on my efforts? I just find it easier to not want to give in to snacks and drinks when I’ve got the gum flavor in my mouth.2. I read somewhere on here that there’s two “free” servings per day of something, and I was wondering what that’s referring to, other than the free veggies….how exactly do the “free” things work and what all is included in this?
Thanks so much, you’ve been so incredibly helpful in my introduction into this program. I’m absolutely loving it, as is my family!! We’re currently halfway through week number 3

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, bntnemenz. My responses are as follows:
1. That’s fine – chewing gum is a great way to avoid eating out of nervousness!
2. Yes, free vegetables, as well as free spreads – a link to a list of the latter will appear on your menu.
I’m glad you and your family are doing well with the program. We’re always happy to help 🙂February 9, 2015 at 12:01 am #26864
bntnemenzMemberAwesome thank you!! I’m not finding the free spread link though, just the veggie one. the only time I’ve seen anything about free spreads is on my actual menu…where exactly is it and is it every day that you get two free spreads??

Ossie-SharonMemberNo problem, bntnemenz. Wherever you see “free spreads” on your menu, click on the little symbol to the right, and it will open the list. Basically, it is a list of amounts of various spreads that you can use once a day without counting exchanges – e.g., a teaspoon of jam or honey, half a teaspoon of butter, etc.
