Hi Guys, could you please tell me what is the daily amount of each food group I should be working to. I have played around with the menu planner & get different totals each day. I would like to have a go at creating my own menu but I am not sure of the daily quantities for a balanced diet.
E.G Monday – totals are 5 fruit/veg, 8.5 pro,7.5 carbs, 7 fats (these are approx amounts, I cant remember the exact quantities I have :). I realise it may not be quite so simple but if I get an idea it will help a great deal.

Hi, Jhorsfall. The amounts vary a little from day to day, but they are basically within a certain range – you can go by the average. As for building your own menu, you can use the Menu Planner application side function – click on the circular arrow icon in the upper right corner of each meal, and you will see your set exchanges, and you can select foods.
You can also do it manually by using the exchange list here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.
