Why raw milk? I used to buy raw milk from a farm and my mother said this my contain harmful bacteria and should be pasteurized.
Hi, mlmuersch. It is indeed a controversial topic for that reason. Raw milk is promoted in some circles because it preserves a lot of the true nutritional value of dairy. It has grown in popularity with the deterioration of the quality of conventional dairy. The Club article describing the pros and cons can be found here http://www.trimdownclub.com/all-about-raw-milk/. If you are a raw milk fan but concerned about safety, try going organic grass-fed.
