I have seen recipes for dessert, but I do not understand where it should fit into my daily menu. Any information about dessert would be appreciated.
Hi, Lissa. Each single serving of a dessert in our recipe collect equals a “sweet” exchange, which you will see in your menu as a yellow star. Each is equivalent to 1 carb + 1 fat exchange, so you can make the swap according to that as well.
Hi I cannot find the “yellow star”. I want to make peanut butter cookies from the recipes but I do not know how to incorporate this into the daily menu.
Thanks!
Hi, Amy. The yellow start is generally at your last snack of the day. You can have a couple of cookies (assuming they are no more than 2 inches or 5 cm in diameter) instead of what’s there.
