I’m a Type II diabetic and joined for the support and meal planning. I see a lot of items with sugar and don’t see meal planning for me. Any ides?
Hi, cjhall. Click on the “My Food Choices” icon (an apple) in the toolbar above your menu, and you will be brought to the food lists from which you can make selections. The foods listed in the lighter blue shades are more appropriate for diabetics.
I already do that now. What I’m looking for is what was said in the video that brought me to this sight – how to mix the right protein with carbs to make them less subject to blood sugar fluctuations. Like pairing mashed potatoes with the right protein.
Hi, cjhall. The Menu Planner does that for you automatically, and you can use the generated menus as examples.
