How long have you been constipated vs. how long have you been on the plan? Before you joined, did you have a high-fiber diet? How much do you drink each day? What is your physical activity level now and before this program?September 1, 2014 at 2:20 am #23004GlendaSchroeder
MemberI have always had constipation problems, but not as bad as now: I take a powdered fiber which worked better on my old bad diet than it does now. I have been drinking about 7 glasses (8 oz ea) per day. My past eating habits were not good; lots of sugar and homemade white bread. that’s why I am surprised to have a problem with all the 100% grains I am eating now. if you can get on my menu journal please do so and maybe you can spot something I am missing. I am very honest on the journal. I don’t exercise at all: hip pain even using 2 canes to walk with; will be seeing my dr. re: this at the end of Sept,

MemberHi, Glenda. It looks like the significant jump in fiber content from your food may be hard on your system. I suggest backing off a little bit, and reintroducing high-fiber foods a little at a time.
