I am looking to eliminate the dairy and the meat to improve cognitive health. It looks like moving to wild fish is the best substitute to keep the protein. What are some other options that I can implement?
Hi, driekes. Legumes, nuts, and seeds can be excellent sources of protein, as can high-quality eggs (pastured or omega-3, particularly supportive of cognitive health). Legumes are in the carbohydrate category of our food lists, but they definiatley count for protein.
