I need to understand what food to buy and how much to eat… exercise is no problems for me since I go to the gym 6-7 days a week and have a trainer two days a week. She is the one who told me the only way to get rid of my stomach fat is to ear right… Hopefully I can do this will any help I can get.

Hi, TomGMary, and welcome. A great place to start would be in the Program Guide, which you can download (in “My Downloads” above).

    TomGMary, my love—

You, I, and everyone alive are going to die. The only two non-religious questions we need to deal with are
“To what extent can I control when that will happen?” and
“How might I best enjoy that life while I have it?”

You have taken the first step with regard to question #1. You can control what you eat. The problem that frequently occurs in this respect is what you have been taught. No one intends to teach you bad eating habits. I was taught to eat fatback, dried lima beans, and macaroni as I was growing up because we couldn’t afford more. It wasn’t all bad since legumes {lima beans is one] and grain [macaroni is made from wheat flour] make a complete protein. Yet, that isn’t the healthiest way to get protein.

Coming to this site has taught me still enjoyable, but healthier ways to eat. It took you a lifetime to learn your present eating habits. It will take time to relearn eating habits that are healthier. Believe me, your sessions in the gym will be much more enjoyable as your body responds to healthier eating.

As for enjoying life, that is up to individual’s preferences, but it doesn’t have to be totally selfish. Nuff said on that subject. 8-D

I love you [in a brotherly way].
