I can only buy dried figs..are i am allowed them and also sultanas…i know they have more sugar in them but are they ok to snakc on…love and light
Dried figs are fine as long as you count them individually and not by weight; it is suggested to drink some water with them, as it is much easier for the body to process the concentrated fiber and sugar amounts that way.
As for the type of grape, if you’re not a diabetic on insulin, don’t worry about the difference in sugars – graps make a great snack.
How many figs are allowed in a snack?
The amount of anything allowed in a snack depend on how many exchanges (here fruit) that can be allotted to that snack – this dependent on your total exchanges of all foods for the day and how they are distributed.
One serving of figs is 2 large figs.
