Is coffee okay to drink? When and how much?
Hi, Stormyrosa. Coffee is fine, and whenever you want (unless it interferes with your sleep, and then just have your last cup enough before you retire for the night. Some studies suggest it helps with weight loss, while others caution its use in hypertension sufferers. Also, do watch what you add to it – the wrong sweeteners and whiteners can add up and work against you. You can read about sweeteners here http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2/, and about coffee limits here http://www.trimdownclub.com/has-coffee-gotten-a-bad-rap/. If you can get organic coffee (and if you drink decaff, then produced through a water or CO2 process), so much the better.
