Ossie-SharonMemberHi, you two. Water is, of course, the most important beverage. It can be plain, still or bubbly, infused with fruits (just steep fruit in it or add squeezes of fresh lemon or lime) or herbs, hot or cold. You can also drink tea and coffee. All of these are “free,” meaning they don’t need to be counted in your menu, but any carb-containing sweeteners or fat-containing whiteners do need to be counted.

blissed4everMemberIf I want to include 1 pint of semi skimmed cows milk per day how do I do this?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, blissed. You can substitute skim milk for another dairy product on your menu, or the entire pint for 30 grams of meat plus a starchy carbohydrate.

BBurrill52MemberCan you use stevia based drinks?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, BBurrill52. In general, we favor Stevia-based drinks – especially if there are no artificial additives.
