I am going out to eat tonight at a Mexican restaurant for my son’s birthday. Any suggestions on what the best food choices would be for low calories and low fat?
Hi, spurly. The best thing to do there is to avoid any starter courses (including the chips sometimes served before the meal) and go easy on anything with lots of melted cheese or sour cream. Best options are those based on black beans (not refried beans), vegetables, non-fried tortillas, rice, and salsa.
