How many eggs can a person eat in one day?
Hi, njdockter. How many eggs a person can eat in a day depends on genes and medical background/risks, and of course, the type of egg and how it is prepared. Research indicates that 1 egg per day is fine for most people. Though some people are able to eat up to 3 eggs per day, diabetics and those with active cardiovascular disease factors are not in that category. The best types of eggs are those rich in omega-3s – this is critical for the group with disease risk factors, and highly recommended for women.
Finally, cooking an egg without oil or using a good oil such as olive or organic canola is much, much better than cooking it in butter or margarine.
