MemberI am a 48 year old male. I purchased the program for my wife and I to loose weight and to start eating better like we know we should. I have lost weight to the tune of 15 lbs. in now the 4th week. And my wife has also lost weight, I know because I can see the body change and she is telling me her cloths are getting looser. We have one question and hope there is a answer, I know that both male’s and female’s should have different nutrition intake. Does the menu planer that I, a male signed up for, provide the essential nutrition for my wife to help her trim down and be healthy at the same time? Does the menu that I create strictly beneficial for just myself?

MemberHi, rdelawder. If you can provide both your heights and weights, I can calculate the relative proportions your wife needs of the foods on your menus.

MemberMy wife’s height is 5’6″ and her weight is 250. My height is 6’2″ and now my weight is 200. Thank you for your help and understanding.

MemberHi, rdelawder. According to the menu patterns consistent with the measurements you provided, you can eat similar amounts of food according to your weekly diet from the Menu Planner application. This is because of the difference in your respective BMIs. Though the principles of the program lean a little more toward women (because they make up most of the Club membership), we took care to make the program good for both genders. You are encouraged to repost if there are significant changes and/or plateaus.
It is great to read that you are doing this together – it can give a really good boost to success. See if you can exercise together, too, even if it is just basic stuff in front of the TV or walks whenever you get a chance. - AuthorPosts
