MemberI have been fasting from 7pm to 12pm for 43 days and then on a low carb diet of no more then 30 carbs per day. Not losing weight!! It has helped my glucose levels to be on range.. Should I go on the Keto diet on here or stick to what I am doing?

MemberHi, BluffGirl. Are you physically active? Have you had your thyroid checked?

MemberHi, BluffGirl. Eating that few calories can result in rebound weight gain. I encourage you to follow the menus here, and consider adding physical activity (strength, endurance, cardio, and/or flexibility, etc.) to get your metabolism back up.

MemberOMG Finally a menu I can follow and it looks delicious. Starting on Monday. I do have one more question. I have started drinking protein shakes made of collagen. I would still like to incorporate that in to my day. Maybe take away a snack?

MemberHi, BluffGirl. Warrior Made is much better than Atkins – we actually don’t recommend the latter, as it has artificial ingredients that may work against your efforts here. In general, it is recommended to use whole foods rather than shakes, but if you like the Warrior Made type, it’s fine as an accompaniment to fruit or vegetables as a snack.
