I have been diagnosed with a very fatty liver, and am new to the Trim Down Club. The dietician at my health fund(I live in Israel has recommended very little fruit. Any suggestions?
Hi, debcargo. Fruit sugar (fructose) is a problem with fatty liver if it is artificially concentrated (as in sweeteners), but not so much in whole fruit. In any event, our menus don’t provide more than 3 servings of fruit per day, and you can swap them for non-starchy vegetables to reduce your fructose intake even more.
