I’m not sure about flax seed. Do I need to purchase whole or ground. I’m told to eat 1\2 ounce. This looks like alot. Not sure how to eat this much at a time. I thought I would put in on my other food but I am drowning my food with this much. I am wanting to incorporate this into my meals but am having a hard time.
Hi, inishia. We encourage you to buy whole (and store it in the refrigerator or freezer) and grind just before use. The amount of 1/2 ounce is about 2 tablespoons, which you can add to cereal, yogurt, smoothies, or salads. If those ideas don’t work for you, let me know.
In my meal plans I am not eating flaxseed with yogurt or salads. Can I can substitute 2 servings of vegetables for salad?
Hi, Inishia. Absolutely!
