sdjohannessenMemberHello, I just started this week and I have a ton of questions. I am not sure if this is the way to get the answers or not. I thought that there would be one contact that I could email if I had questions. I really don’t have time to read through every one’s comments to see if I can find the answers to my questions. Can I drink coffee with a bit of milk, what about a glass of wine if we have a social gathering. When a meal comes up and I click on alternate, sometime there are no other options or only one, for eg: One dinner lists steak and the alternate is turkey, when what I want to cook is halibut, can I do that?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, and welcome. This is the place!
Yes, you can definitely have a bit of milk in your coffee, no worries. As for wine, a serving is 4 fluid ounces (120 ml) – equivalent to 1 fat + 1 carb exchange (and so is located in “Fats” – “Beverages”). You can select it in your Menu Planner lists so that you can see how it would get worked into your menu.
As for the protein foods, 1 ounce (30 grams) of steak equals an ounce of turkey equals an ounce of fish. You can see the exchange lists here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists. - AuthorPosts
