    I noticed that certain foods are matched with other foods at snack, lunch and dinner times. What is the protein, carbo, sugar and fiber combination for success.

    Hi, talone3. We use a 1 gram protein to 3 grams carbohydrate to 1 gram fat, with about 15-20% of the carbohydrates from fiber (depending on your individual food choices, of course).

    I am not good with grams and stuff, how do I figure this out?

    Hi, dmenez. The Menu Planner does the work for you, and you can find other measures here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.
    For a frame of reference, a usual portion of meat or substitute is about the size of the palm of your hand (without the fingers), about a fist for fruits, vegetables, dairy, and starches (rice, cereal, pasta), and a slice of bread.
