    I thought fruit was always to be by itself, starches & veggies, or veggies & protein–the menu planner mixes them all together–does it work this way??

    Hi, Angie. Since the TrimDownClub program is based on limiting glucose and insulin spikes, it combines sources of carbs (i.e. fruits) with proteins and/or fats to slow down and balance the entrance of sugars into the bloodstream.
