MemberI guess that challenges are part of the earthly journey and we do the best that we can with help from above and others that understand and support us. At these times I think he does His best work in us. The interruptions in life be it Jill’s breast cancer or Marlyn’s weight reversal, they really are what make us stronger. For instance, we never would have had these dialogues if our lives were perfect! I am grateful to be here and to share your journeys. I am thankful for you. Good luck and don’t give up. This is a really healthy lifestyle. I wish I would have eaten more like this sooner! I don’t really miss all the meat!
Arthritis, where did that come from? The more I move the better it feels. My back problems limit my activity but I still pursue it. It makes everything feel better.January 22, 2013 at 3:26 pm #7027Ronpattilyons

Was just checking out all the things offered and I am so glad to find you guys. I believe finding this program wasn’t be accident. My pastor has started a series called “Overhaulin”. Well, I’m certainly doing some of that. I look forward to getting to know you. Jesus is Lord!

MemberJust wanted to say “thank you” to everyone who is sharing. Most days I am too tired to share anything, but gladly read your emails as they come in…encouraged by your comments or just by your being there. By the grace of God,I want to lose 50lbs this year and am trusting Him to help me accomplish this.

MemberHi. I am brand new to this “healthy” eating plan. I honestly don’t recognize most of the ingredients so this is going to be a real challenge. It is so nice to know that there are fellow believers doing this as well. My name is Sharon and I live in Petersfield, Manitoba, Canada. Really looking forward to connecting with you guys.

MemberHello, friends. I’m a grandmother now, and I’ve been on a diet since I was 13! I am truly hoping that this time, with all this support, I will be able to lose the weight and keep it off, but I say that every time I start a new program. Now, doing things online is new to me and I’m having a little difficulty getting around, but I’ll learn. January is drawing to a close, and I hope to be ready to start the program 100% by February 1st.

MemberHi everyone, I am glad to see this group. I am just beginning. Have not really got started yet. I have to go to the grocery store before I can really get started. I don’t usually do good with preplanned menus. I believe I am really going to like it once I get started.

MemberHello, everyone, I’m June from W. Pennsylvania. Don’t need to lose a lot, but the lbs. I’ve gained over the past 2 yrs., (all in the mid-section), prevent me from squeezing into most of my clothes and I refuse to Keep buying clothes to fit a larger me. Also, I’ve become lazy as far as exercising goes and that is crucial for all over good health. I’ve always been tall and slim. However, since I re-married 2 yrs. ago, I lost my waistline. (By the way, my husband is not dieting, nor does want to.) Go figure. It’s so wonderful to find a place here with sisters in Christ sharing this common interest. Bless you all.
