can I exchange brown rice tortilla for GR bread? If so would it be 1 for 1? Don’t tolerate yeast well. Would tortilla chips be an acceptable exchange?
Also are there specific foods I should avoid due to grave’s disease (treated with radioactive iodine and have been on levothyroxine for 33 years), history of adrenal fatigue, and complete hysterectomy?
Thanks
Hi, cmjejones. A 6-inch brown rice tortilla can be exchanged for a slice of bread, and a 10-inch for two slices. Tortilla chips are different, as they contain more fat than plain tortillas – so every 7-8 chips or so would be 1 carb + 1 fat exchange.
