Hi all,
i have intolerences to gluten, cows milk and egg. i usually substitute with coconut milk and gluten free options but i am concerned that by doing this i am putting more processed food in my diet – does anyone have any advice?
Hi, saraorme, and welcome. Gluten-free options can be tricky, as many are indeed processed and refined. However, growing awareness means better products are entering the marketplace. Try to do your shopping at health-oriented shops such as Whole Foods Market, and get familiar with label-reading – make sure the ingredients contain whole grains and no hydrogenated fats or artificial additives, and you’ll be fine.
