MemberWhat kind of granola bars would you suggest? What kind of ice cream? Would one with chocolate chunks be okay? It never says the flavor

MemberHi, Enlawley. The flavor isn’t so much the issue as is the basic composition. The goal is to find products without artificial ingredients or excessive sugar, or that have undergone excessive refining or processing. We would recommend that you make your own when possible (see some recipes here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/?s=granola+bar&post_type=recipe), but beyond that, reading labels is a good way to make good choices. The following are examples of ingredients lists for the types of readymade products that we would recommend:
Granola Bar
“Whole grain blend (oats, brown rice, millet, oat flour, buckwheat, amaranth, quinoa), tapioca syrup, dried cane syrup, honey, canola oil, coconut, sea salt, vitamin E”
Ice Cream
“PASTEURIZED ORGANIC CREAM AND ORGANIC NONFAT MILK, ORGANIC CANE SUGAR, ORGANIC EGG YOLK, ORGANIC VANILLA EXTRACT”July 26, 2017 at 12:54 am #39281lgoodro
Membermy menu calls for ice cream and frozen yogurt. Could I replace these with low fat yogurt if I don’t want to have ice cream or frozen yogurt?
